Andrés Castellani

Andrés Castellani is an Argentinian Saxophonist specialising in Contemporary Music. After two years in Bordeaux with Marie-Bernardette Charrier, he is completing his Masters of Music at the ¨Academie Superieur de Musique de Strasbourg¨, under the direction of Philippe Geiss.In 2010, Andrés Castellani completed his Bachelor of Music at the University of Lanús in Buenos Aires,, where he was a member of the contemporary music ensemble ´L.E.M.C.´He has worked with several composers to develop new repertory for the instrument, including Jorge Sad, Matías Giuliani, Martín Proscia, Roberto Azarreto, Santiago Diez Fischer (Argentina). Javier Muñoz (Chile), Yérri-Gaspar Hummel (France). He is a member of the Strasbourg Saxophone Ensemble, and has been a regular performer with the Orchestre Symphonique de Mulhouse and Orchestre Philarmonique de Strasbourg.
