Lindy Annis

Lindy Annis ist in Boston geboren und studierte Theater in New York (NYU / Experperimental Theater Wing). 1985 zog sie nach West-Berlin, wo sie durch eigene Kurz-Performances in privaten und öffentlichen Räumen bekannt wurde. In den 90-iger Jahren konzipierte sie das dreiteilige Paternoster-Projekt mit KünstlerInnen aus Berlin, Wien, Moskau. Ab 2001 entstand “The Body Archive” – eine performative Erforschung der emotionalen Körpersprache, ihrer Rezeption und ihrer antiken Ursprünge. Lindy Annis arbeitet häufig in Kooperationen mit anderen KünstlerInnen, unter anderen Antonia Baehr, Frieder Butzmann und Nicholas Bussmann.
