Penelopex

MARTA ZAPPAROLI aka Penelopex creates sound art using digital and custom analog tools as well as found instruments and objects. Her sonic work investigates the enviromental phemonena, acoustic ecology and sonic narratives through decomposition and realtime manipulation.
Zapparoli's background in theater, music and media arts provides a
base from which to explore interest in a range of electronic media
and live performance. She is currently working and living in Berlin,
where she is part of the Splitter Orchester and producing a serious
of live installations with Martin Kuentz.
