Annette Krebs verbindet filigranes Geräuschmaterial und instrumental anmutende Klänge mit Zuspielungen, die sie in autonomen Schichten anreichert. Seit 2013 entwickelt sie elektroakustische Instrumentalskulpturen: Mikrophonisch verstärkt und verbunden mit Sensoren, Controllern und speziell dafür programmierter Software bilden ausgewählte Klangmaterialien die Basis für neue Solokompositionen. Erste Kompositionen entstanden bereits in der Kindheit, zugleich beschäftigte sich die Künstlerin intensiv mit Malerei und bildender Kunst. Sie studierte Konzertgitarre in Frankfurt am Main und lebt seit 1993 als freischaffende Komponistin und Musikerin in Berlin. Annette Krebs führt ihre Musik regelmäßig in- und außerhalb Europas auf, veröffentlichte zahlreiche CDs und besitzt einen youtube-Kanal.
