Litó Walkey

Born in Vancouver Canada 1975, Litó is a choreographer and performer living in Berlin. Litó graduated from the School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam. In 2002 she joined the Chicago-based performance company Goat Island with whom she continues to create, perform and teach. She has created and toured her own initiatives in Europe and America: a solo _wings raised to a second power_ , _The Missing Dance No.7_ with Boris Hauf and Katja Dreyer; _instanded i turn_ with Boris Hauf; and _To fight a duel_ with inside-pianist Andrea Neumann. _Like that, like this_ with Carlos Pez, recently premiered in fabrik Potsdam. Next year Litó will tour Goat Island's final performance and take part in creation of their final film project. She will tour Like that, like this,  continue teaching collaborative methods of creating performance, and work as a performer in a new piece directed by Martin Nachbar and Martine Piscani.
