Steps.  Duplicated Steps.  They form a rhythm.  Duration becomes irritation and the body slowly morphs to each…

Step.   The rhythm intertwines all the same.  Choreography and Music are bound - as a push and pull they divide, yet one entails the other and in the end, they encounter each other again and again.  An eternal search and an inevitable discovery.  

Step. Repeat.  Shift.  Repeat.  Consonance.  Repeat.  Cadence.  Repeat.

Step.  Pulse - in the light is the body and the machine.

Mustermachine is a project researching the form and concept of a musical machine in relation to the body.  As a choreography, the dancers (Johannes Van Bebber, Romain Thibaud-Rose and Gregor Glogowski) are bound by a musical score and the rhythms take control of their movements much like the grinding gears of a factory.  Focusing primarily on dance and composition, the research to be held in ausland intends to discover a final form in which these developments can be unveiled.  Music consolidates relations and the dance searches for a resonating experience.  

Dunkelheit. 4 Tänzer vor einer schwarzen Wand. Dunkelheit.
Schritte. Vervielfältigte Schritte. Sie formieren einen Rhythmus. Die Dauer irritiert. Langsam werden Körper sichtbar. Der Rhythmus ebenfalls. Choreografie und Klang verbinden sich, drängen auseinander, bedingen sich, variieren und finden sich doch immer wieder. Ein ewiges Suchen und Finden. Wiederholung, Veränderung, Wiederholung, Gleichklang, Wiederholung, Gleichschritt, Wiederholung. Der Takt, der Körper, die Maschine, im Licht. Dunkelheit.

Ein Projekt in Form einer musikalischen Maschine. Die Tänzer sind über eine rhythmische Partitur verbunden. Die Rhythmen greifen ineinander wie Zahnräder. Gemeinsam und tänzerisch werden kompositorische Formen untersucht. Die Musikalität setzt  Verhältnisse. Und Tanz sucht nach klanglicher Erfahrung.
