Julien Desprez

Julien Desprez is a french guitar player based in Paris (Fr).

After a gold medal at the Montreuil Jazz Academy of Music, he has been multiplying musical experiences in the field of improvisation. He was awarded the first prize at the 2007 “La Défense Jazz festival”. He has played with François Jeanneau, Daniel Zimmerman, Olivier Benoit, Stéphane Payen, Christophe Lavergne, Thomas Depourquery, Marc Baron, Charlie Haden, Guillaumme orti, Benoit Delbecq, amongst others... He is also very much involved in the Paris jazz / metal scene, with groups such as “DDJ” and “Q”.
