Saba Alizadeh ist ein Komponist, Musiker und Fotograf aus Teheran/Iran. Er spielt die Kamancheh (iranische Stachelgeige), elektronische Musik und verwirklicht Klangkunst-Produktionen. Alizadeh studierte Kamancheh und Fotografie in Teheran und experimentelle Klangkunst am California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles. 2014 gründete er „Noise Works“, eine Plattform zur Veranstaltung von Konzerten mit experimenteller, improvisierter und elektronischer Musik und zum Wissenstransfer von Musiktechnologien unter jungen iranischen Musiker_innen. 2017 nahm er gemeinsam mit dem Berliner Sänger Andreas Spechtl ("Ja, Panik") das Album „Thinking About Tomorrow, And How To Build It“ auf. Im gleichen Jahr veröffentlichte Alizadeh sein Solo-Album „Scattered Memories“, dass Kamancheh und elektronische Musik vereint.

Saba Alizadeh is a composer, musician and photographer from Tehran / Iran. He plays the Kamancheh (Iranian barbed violin), electronic music and he realizes sound art productions. Alizadeh studied Kamancheh and photography in Tehran and experimental sound art at the California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles. In 2014 he founded "Noise Works", a platform for organizing concerts of experimental, improvised and electronic music and for the transfer of knowledge of music technologies among young Iranian musicians. In 2017 he recorded the album "Thinking About Tomorrow, And How To Build It“, together with the Berlin singer Andreas Spechtl ("Ja, Panik"). In the same year, Alizadeh released his solo album "Scattered Memories" that merges Kamancheh and electronic music.
