Scheibenhonig
Herman Müntzing: flexichord, sampler, things
Martin Küchen: floor percussion, saxophone, things
Küchen & Müntzing Scheibenhonig valuates precious everyday sounds and deliberately marks the new century with its constant streaming of superfluous dexterity. And with formulas dedicated to no one. Hurled at the audience. Silent. Loud. A new enterprise. With no goods to sale. All made on floor percussion and a flexichord, saxophone and small, small gadgets; electrical and non-electrical.
We are soon coming for You. With our mutated honey.
Martin Küchen: some saxophonist from somewhere, doing something … playing the inside out in inverse order.
Herman Müntzing: non-virtuosity in its most obnoxious form. Slowly explores the path heading to serene emptiness.
The two have previously toured Europe separately with different groupings and with solo acts, but also together in the trio Sound of Mucus.
