Der Komponist, Multiinstrumentalist und Produzent Elliott Sharp gehört seit Jahrzehnten zu den wichtigsten Figuren der New Yorker Downtown Szene. Seine zahlreichen Projekte sind auf über 200 Studio-Alben dokumentiert. Der Hamburger Kontrabassisten und Komponisten John Eckhardt ist sowohl Improvisations- als auch Kammermusiker. Sein 2008 erschienenes Kontrabass Solodebut "Xylobiont" auf Evan Parkers PSI Rec. wurde von der internationalen Presse wiederholt als Meilenstein des Genres bezeichnet. Davor und evtl. danach loopt DJ Looping Loops. | ||

Die Musik, die entsteht, wenn in einem montenigrinischem Hirtenlied ein Jodelgesang der Baka-Pygmäen und ein Zwiefacher aus der Oberpfalz aufeinander treffen, ist so tanzbar, krude und wild, wie man sich das Hirtenleben nur als Städter vorstellt.
