ali matthews
Ali Matthews (The Bitchuationist) is a performance artist and singer who weaves participatory experiences out of text, song, and scenographic environment in order to play with certain fundamental aspects of theatricality: intimacy, distance, desire and alienation. Her work has been shown at Arnolfini (Bristol), Project Arts Centre (Dublin), Hatch (Nottingham), Toynbee Studios/ArtsAdmin (London), The Basement (Brighton), Bristol Old Vic (Mayfest launch 2012), Green Man Festival (Wales), and others. Her newest show, What The Money Meant, has its London premiere this summer at Chelsea Theatre as part of its Fresh Blood season.
