Our first event with co-host Mc Jabber! The countdown to our next FC event is on: just over a week to go. AND: it'll be the last reading event of 2018, followed on 2 Dec by our seasonal party together with The Reader, Sand Journal and Literally Speaking. So you really don't ant to miss it, do you? So far, we have an all female line-up, but you can still submit until Friday 9 November. €3 admission on the door, which open at 7.30 pm.

Fiction Canteen is an event to share ideas about your writing, get feedback, be inspired by others’ work. It is a space to grow into the new and to promote voices that may go unheard. To read, submit your work to us ANYTIME at fictioncanteen@gmail.com Texts should be unpublished. No theme. Prose, non-fiction, essay or verse. Up to fifteen minutes. We'll talk about any issues you'd like in your text. We'll announce readers running-up.

Fiction Canteen ist ein Lesungsformat, der dazu dient, eigene Texte zu präsentieren, Feedback zu erhalten, sich von der Arbeit anderer inspirieren zu lassen und mittels moderierter Diskussion anderen Autor*innen und dem Publikum zu begegnen. Gleichzeitig bietet es einen Raum, um solchen Stimmen zuzuhören, die ansonsten vielleicht ungehört bleiben würden. Um an Fiction Canteen teilzunehmen, schicke deinen noch nicht veröffentlichten Text an fictioncanteen@gmail.com. Es gibt keine festen thematischen Vorgaben und es können Prosa, Sachbuch, Essay oder Lyrik sein. Die Textpräsentation sollte nicht länger als 15 Minuten dauern. Wir diskutieren über die Themen und machen unsere Empfehlungen. Wir verkünden die Namen der Lesenden ca. eine Woche vor der Veranstaltung.
