Nach New York!“ erschienen.

- Katrin Kaiser, Die Abendzeitung

Konstantin Schimanowski is a composer of avant-pop music. He was born 1985 close to Murmansk in northern Russia. He studied Philosophy and History of Arts at the Albert-Ludwig University in Freiburg and SoundStudies at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
His compositions combine ifluences of contemporary art, classical music and jazz in a pop-driven framework.
Since 2011 he has realized several musical projects in different settings and genres. Going from relatively straight forward indie-rock music with his band crime killing joker man towards experimental songwriting with his solo-project TRIPS through a phase of experimentation in various fields connected to art, film and theatre while living in Leipzig.
He is now based in Berlin and working in collaboration with artists like Sergei Sviatchenko and Nicholas Bussmann.
