Lars Scherzberg

Lars Scherzberg studied at the Hamburg Conservatory and the Hochschule für Künste Bremen with a major in guitar. Alongside his college, he intensively studied the saxophone and developed his own customization technique. Lessons and projects with Wolfgang Fuchs during a three-year stay in Berlin . Currently he is a freelance musician living in Hamburg . He collaborates with musicians in the field of free improvisation and new music, playing with Chris Heenan, Michael Maierhof and Birgit Ulher in the quartet NORDZUCKER, with John Hughes and Nicolas Wiese in the H/S/W Trio, with Jeff Arnal and John Hughes in the trio Tripwire. Intensive cooperation with Gene Coleman, Rhodri Davis and Tim Hodgkinson.
