Noam Bierstone

is a Canadian percussionist living in Paris. An avid advocate of new music, Noam has collaborated with many emerging and distinguished composers and has recently performed at festivals in Toronto, Quebec, The Hague, Paris, and Brussels. Noam is a founding member of standardmodell, a saxophone, piano, and percussion trio, and is involved in various projects including scapegoat, Pulsar, and No Input Ensemble. He has performed with Ensemble Intercontemporain and Nouvel Ensemble Moderne, and can be heard on the Canteloupe Music record label.
