Beginning as a piano and electronics project in 2000, Pateras & Fox have developed a sophisticated language that focuses on spontaneous composition and the real time processing of improvised sonic objects. Manipulating the unique combination of voice, cracked electronics, microphones and laptop, instantaneous transformations influence future actions resulting in a generative compositional feed-back loop. Additionally, the duo play in multi-channel configurations that allow for diffusion wherever possible, creating immersive sonic environments generated in real-time.
