is a project wich mixes sound, video and live performance.The main focus of this project is speech or the «act of speaking» and the various aspects it comprises such as sounds, the use of language, breath, meanings, actions, images and representations. Those different layers appear in the flow of the performance through simple actions with a piece of cardboard, a hammer, sheets of paper, blue pens, projected images and different texts in English, French, German and Japanese. Meaning and sense are projected, tossed, dropped
and oscillate between a clear speech and non sense, a readable sign and a shapeless
Steffi Weismann zeigt zum zweiten Mal ihre Solo-Performance "Bandi Bandi", eine kurze energiegeladene Synthese aus Stimme, Aktion und Klang. Die Performance steht in doppelter Hinsicht in Bezug zum "ausland": Zum einen gibt es den konkreten Raumbezug und zum anderen den produktionstechnischen Zusammenhang. Das spezielle Gerät, das in dieser Performance zum Einsatz kommt, wurde mit Rut Waldeyer und Elisabeth Enke im Ausland-Workshop "Trockenschwimmen" aus einem Mikrofonbausatz hergestellt.
