Ali Hasan aka Nar

Nar is a Syrian percussionist based in Berlin since 2015. Playing music since he was a child, Hasan began focused studies in 2013 with the acclaimed percussionist Mohammed Shehade. Since arriving in Berlin, he has performed with musicians from all walks of life and musical backgrounds, playing in numerous spaces and venues ranging from the streets to the Berliner Philharmonie. Hasan is also one of the founders of بيناتنا. Between Us, the first arabic library in Berlin, and the founder of We Belong TO MUSIC, a music platform for newcomer musicians to Berlin.
