Zur Reihe "CC No. 2 - Craving Coincidence" hat das ausland sechs Musiker*innen eingeladen, je einen langen Abend frei zu gestalten. Sie laden weitere Künstler*innen ein und stellen ihren eigenen Auftritt in den Kontext eines vielseitigen Programms zwischen Konzertabend, Salon und Clubnacht.
Die Hamburger Klangkünstlerin Nika Son hat die zweite Ausgabe kuratiert und bringt Beatriz Ferreyra, Container, Franziska Windisch, das Duo Vernon & Burns und die DJs Nina und Allon Kaye ins ausland mit – die Violinistin Juditha Haeberlin spielt Rebecca Saunders' Komposition "Hauch". Ihren eigenen Auftritt bestreitet Son zusammen mit dem Musiker F#X als Duo Cwelle.
Am späten Nachmittag, vor dem Live-Programm, zeigt der finnische Regisseur Mika Taanila "Tectonic Plate", einen experimentellen Film über Flugangst, Sicherheitskontrollen und Zeitzonen.
For the series "CC No. 2 - Craving Coincidence", ausland invited six musicians to curate one long night each, in between concert evening, salon and club night. They're weaving their own concert into a multifaceted programme featuring contributions by further artists.
Tonight's second edition was put together by Nika Son, sound artist from Hamburg, who'll bring Beatriz Ferreyra, Container, Franziska Windisch and the duo Vernon & Burns with her to ausland and invited Nina and Allon Kaye as DJs. Violinist Juditha Haeberlin will perform Rebecca Saunders' composition "Hauch". In her own appearance, Nika shares the stage with fellow musician F#X as duo Cwelle.
In the late afternoon, preceding the live program, Mika Taanila screens "Tectonic Plate", a cameraless film about fear of flying, security checks and time zones.
