As part of their tour five members of the SROSH ENSEMBLE from Porto, Portugal will be taking part in a short residency in ausland. On the night of the 20th they will present their works in many different collaborations and as an ensemble together. Joining us will be: Gustavo Costa, Henrique Fernandes, Alberto Lopes, Rodrigo Cardoso and João Ricardo.

....but when the first square note, the breve, stands alone, then it always remains what it is - a breve. If one attaches another note to it, however, and if this second attached note stands lower than the first square note, then the first is always a longa....
Sabine Ercklentz and Tisha Mukarji will take some notes standing, attaching, removing, replacing, dispensing, and then will tune them, play them, take them for fools, take them for a ride, blow them up, blow them away.
With a piano, a trumpet, a few objects here and there, a speaker, a pedal or four and some cables.
Biographies:
Sabine Ercklentz first studied law at the FU Berlin before she turned to the trumpet at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns-Eisler, Berlin. She lives and works in Berlin as a composer, musician and performer. Her works often stretch the borders of music and challenge the definition of genres. She frequently collaborates with other artists. She has peformed in numereous concerts and festivals. Such as FIMAV in Victorialville, Canada; Red Cat in Los Angeles, USA; Recontres Choreographiques in Paris; Moderna Museet in Stockholm; Taktlos in Zürich; City of Women in Ljublijana; Wittener Tage fur Neue Kammermusik; Donaueschinger Musiktage; Tanzplattform Deutschland, Dresden; ZKM in Karslruhe.

Tisha Mukarji is a pianist, composer, and artist who holds an MFA from the Master's Program in Fine Arts at Malmö Art Academy, Malmö. She has performed and recorded her work extensively in Europe. She is the author of Auscultation (2010) and released the CDs Outwash (2012), Endspace, (2008), and D is for Din (2006).
