Bertrand Gauguet - Saxofone

Bertrand Gauguet is composer, improviser and organizer. Since 2000, the French saxophones player plays gigs all over Europe with artists such as Andrea Neumann, John Butcher, Michel Doneda, eRikm, Barre Phillips and many more. For the first concert in ausland after their summer break, he invites trumpet player Axel Dörner and guitarist Michael Renkel, two protagonists of the Berlin Echtzeitmusik scene. Axel Dörner is among the very versatile artists playing traditional Bebop just as classical Free Jazz and improvised (electronic) music based on the Berlin reductionism  which he co-founded. Michael Renkel works as a guitar player mainly in constant groups; as a composer his main emphasis is an interest in open methods of composition.

Liz Allbee Solo featuring primarily trompet, electronics and voice: cozily mesanthropic terrain, wrapped up in songs like a pig in a blanket - with sharp little bits stuck out to chomp you.
