Soizic Lebrat

Soizic Lebrat ist eine französische Cellistin, Komponistin, Improvisatorin, Performerin und Musikforscherin (Research-Creation, Kulturgeschichte). Sie verfolgt einen experimentellen Ansatz in der Musik und führt künstlerische Forschungsprojekte durch (ope1000, Fabrique de musique, Double Frictional Wheel, Radiophonium). Sie ist regelmäßig bei nahmhaften Veranstaltungen für improvisierte Musik zu Gast (Moers Festival, A l'improviste, Biegungen im Ausland, Festival Piednu, Festival Bordures....). Sie tritt sowohl als Solistin und in kleinen Gruppen auf (Trio mit Yuko Oshima und Isabelle Duthoit, Quatuor BRAC ....) als auch in großen Ensembleprojekten (Système Friche, Grand8, Grand Fou Band....)

Soizic Lebrat is a french cellist, composer, improviser, performer and music researcher (research-creation, cultural history) Engaged in an experimental approach in music, she conducts to creation and research projects (ope1000, Fabrique de musique, Double Frictional Wheel, Radiophonium). She is a regular on several different improvised music scenes (Moers Festival, A l’improviste, Biegungen im Ausland, Festival Piednu, Festival Bordures….) She performs both solo or intimate groups works (trio with Yuko Oshima and Isabelle Duthoit, Quatuor BRAC ….), as well as that large ensemble projects (Système Friche, Grand8, Grand Fou Band….)
