IGE*TIMER

biegungen im ausland

The music of ige*timer is an interplay between acoustic, electroacoustic and electronic sound creation and manipulation, causing intense frictions and sudden moments of harmony. Klaus Janek plays the doublebass while Simon Berz intervenes with hacked toys and lo-fi electronics.

From solo to large groups Simon Rose has performed extensively in Europe, US and Canada. Rose’s interest as a free improviser developed by exploring the possibilities created by purposefully limiting himself to the alto saxophone. Recently he has turned his attention to the possibilities offered by the large bore of the baritone saxophone.

Joke Lanz (Sudden Infant) lays your daily portion of noise on the desks.

"Born in Switzerland, now based in Berlin, Joke Lanz (aka Sudden Infant) is one of the most prolific and profound artists working in the border zones where performance and body art meet improvisation and Noise." - The Wire
